Google Sitemaps penalty
Q. I have a got a number of sites indexed by Google, and I control all of the Google Sitemaps via a single sitemaps account. We know that Google likes to bump up PageRanks of sites which have links from high PR sites. I control a .ac.uk website and have a link from the front page of this to my personal website. Now, in theory, the kudos of having a link from a high PR page should bump up the PR of my personal site. However, will Google ignore it as they can see (via Google sitemaps) that I control both sites?
