Selecting a search agency with IAB / DMA Search Marketing Charter
In August 2007, the IAB / DMA Search Marketing Charter was published. I think this is a good step forward since it gives some level of assurance to marketers that the search agencies they use are credible. Any marketer commissioning paid search should insist on it. However, there are some limitations to it, in particular, it doesn't detail ethical approaches to natural search / search engine optimisation.

SearchDay calls this the "Swiss Army Knife" for the search marketer and that's about right. It provides a skin on other search tools. The most useful tool I found was Textalyser which is under the Misc tab. This provides a key phrase frequency count which I have been looking for, for ages.
