PWC global data survey
This updates on 2001 survey referenced in the book. It shows that still, data quality doesn't have a high profile at senior management level in many companies. Although 2 in 5 do have an approved board-level strategy, apparently driven by legal and regulatory compliance.
In the survey, respondents estimated on average that the value of their data represented some 37% of the worth their organisation. However, only 15% of organisations said that they actually calculated the financial value of their data, and among these.
