- Brief Review: Nielsen's Designing Web Usability is the original classic on Usability principles. Many web designers cut their teeth on this. It is now too dated to recommend, but everyone can still learn from its companion '50 Websites deconstructed' which does what it says and reviews best practice for many well known US and UK sites.
